Welcome to Yo’s Poker Palace, a truly unique poker experience tucked away in the scenic mountain town of Alpine, Wyoming.

I’m Yolanda Navarrete, a 70-year-old poker lover, longtime local, and your regular dealer here at the Bull Moose Saloon. After retiring from administrative work, I followed my passion for the game and took over a live poker game that now runs four nights a week, right here at this rustic, rowdy and welcoming saloon, on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

For the past 13 years, we’ve built a poker community like no other. We host everyone from seasoned regulars and ranchers from the valley to visiting city slickers from Jackson Hole, and curious tourists eager to play poker in a real Western saloon. We keep the games fun, fair, and friendly. In true Wyoming fashion, we don’t take a rake. Our income comes solely from tips and we go the extra mile to make sure players have a great time.

Our weekly lineup includes action-packed cash games (1-2 No Limit Hold’em), plus tournaments for all levels, including a $25 Sunday Bounty and a $100 Wednesday night tourney that rolls into a lively cash game.

My husband Mikey, a legally blind but sharp-as-a-razor poker pro, joins us at the tables every week. His calm presence and years of experience help keep the game in check and the atmosphere respectful. Every summer, we head to Vegas for the WSOP, where we both compete in various events – including my favorite, the Ladies Event, and Mikey’s go-to, “Salute to Warriors.”

If you’re ever in Western Wyoming, come by The Bull Moose for a game. Pull up a chair, order some great food, and shuffle up and deal – Yo-style.
